A basic kayaking course on the Jizera and Lower Kamenice, designed for beginner kayakers as well as intermediate kayakers who want to spend the weekend training on natural water. In case of favorable water conditions, more skilled kayakers will train in a separate group on Kamenice Price: 2,450 CZK

O události
Weekend kayak course for beginners designed as a basic course. You will learn about kayaking equipment and its use. You will try and practice your first kayak shots on gently flowing water. If you have already sat in a kayak but still have problems with the basic driving elements, this course is designed for you.
Program:
Saturday:
- course starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Paraplíčko public campsite
- familiarization with kayaking equipment and safe movement on flowing water
- theoretical preparation for dry land, a whole range of shots and driving elements
- morning part of training on the water until 12:00
- break for lunch
- afternoon training on the slalom course and sailing the Jizera to Malá Skála
We camp right by the water in a public campground. A grill will be available.
Sunday:
- a group of more capable kayakers will set off in the morning for the lower section of Kamenice
- security of movement on WW and tactics of driving in a group
- training on the Žaba rapid on the way, where
- break for lunch at Paraplíčka
- afternoon program on the water at Paraplíček
- end of the course at approximately 4:00 p.m
Included:
- instructor team with valid WW license
- complete equipment for kayakers (neoprene, neo shoes, vest, helmet, paddle, spray jacket, helmet)
- whitewater kayak rental in full creek equipment
- photos from the course
The price does not include:
- risk sports insurance
- food and drink for the entire duration of the event
