O události
Autumn kayaking school on Úhlava for moderately advanced kayakers who can already stop in the backwater and go out into the current. They want to improve their skills when riding in a group on natural water and at the same time measure their abilities in the gates as part of the ČPV tourist race.
The navigable section of Úhlava is about 10 km long and can only be navigated during the spring thaw or after heavy rains. In the fall, there is a possibility to float thanks to the organization of the ČPV tourist boat race series and thus the improved water condition when the Nýrsko dam is released.
Program:
Saturday:
- meeting at the parking lot under the Nýrska dam at 8:00 a.m
- floating the section from the dam in Nyrsko
- several interesting weirs await us along the way and the highest of them is the 2.2m high weir in Nýrsko
- performance evaluation, farewell and departure home
Included:
- instructor with valid WW license
- complete equipment for kayakers
- kayak rental
- photos from the course
- transport of own equipment to the start and from the finish line - possibility to agree on carpooling
The price does not include:
- risk sports insurance
- transport
- diet and drinking regime
- starting fee 70 CZK
