Course for kayakers/canoeists on the Doubrava

Spring kayaking school on the Doubrava for moderately advanced kayakers and paddlers who can already stop in the backwater and go out into the current. They want to improve their group riding skills on natural water. 

The navigable section of the Doubrava is about 10 km long and we will sail through the beautiful Chittussi Valley. The difficulty of sailing WW I - WW II. Thanks to the improved water condition during the discharge of the Pařížov dam.

Program:

Saturday:

• meeting at the parking lot in Pařížov 9:30
• sailing the Pařížov - Ronov n. Doubravou section
• a stop at the legendary Martin rapids, which can be taken repeatedly
• performance evaluation
• setting up a campsite in the meadow (only those who will also be there for Sunday water)
• evening grill and free entertainment

Sunday:

• in the morning we will have breakfast together and move again to the start of the already familiar section
• sailing the Pařížov - Ronov n. Doubravou section
• performance evaluation
• end of the event at approx. 2 p.m.

Included in the price:

• instructor with valid WW license
• transportation of equipment to the start and finish line
• collection of drivers
• complete equipment for kayakers
• kayak rental
• photos from the course

The price does not include:

• risk sports insurance
• transport in case of departure from Prague, carpooling can be arranged
• diet and drinking regime

If you do not want to participate in the course, you can use our equipment rental. The rental price list for 2022 is available on our website orHERE. 200 CZK must be added to the rental price for the transport of the material to Pařížov and back. 

When renting a kayak, we collect a refundable deposit of CZK 4,000
