O události

Four-day kayaking course on alpine rivers for beginners and intermediate kayakers. On this course we will guide you through several alpine rivers of lower difficulty. You can look forward to alpine rivers that are suitable for training and sections where the difficulty does not exceed WW II - II+. You will enjoy training on natural flowing water

Program*:

On Wednesday, in the early evening  , a van leaves Prague to take us to the location with the necessary material. We will all meet in the evening at the campsite in Wildalpen on the right bank.

Day 1 Thursday- in the morning we will start our training with instructions on safe movement on running water, rescue and self-defense. Subsequently, we will hone the technique of shots in selected places. We are waiting for a stretch of approx. 15 km long with numerous stops for training, where the difficulty will not exceed WW II.

Day 2 Friday-  in the morning we will go to the nearby river Ybbs (Jivice) on the section Opponitz - Waidhofen, which is about 10 km long and has a difficulty level of WW II+. a511-2eb009ed8a2d_

Day 3 Saturday-  in the morning we will set off for training on the watery river Enns (Enža) in the Gstatterboden section, a 5.8 km long section of difficulty WW II max III. We will see the legendary section Gesäuse-Eingang, which has a difficulty level of WW IV - V. Don't worry, we will only get on the water below the island :-) and beautiful views of the Gesäuse National Park await us.

4th day Sunday-  on the last day, training will take us to the river Steyr.  Steyr offers several interesting sections for training. The lesser-known one with a boarding point directly below the Stromboding waterfall has a length of approx. 7 km and a difficulty level of WW II - III. Below the dam, there are two more sections of difficulty WW II (8km) and II - (3km).

In the case of unfavorable water conditions on selected rivers, we include, for example, lower sections of the Salza or another stream in the vicinity.
